Oregon Convention Center Expansion

The expansion, which opened in April 2003, added about 407,500 square feet to the 500,000-square-foot center. The expansion includes 105,000 square feet of exhibit space, a second 34,500-square-foot ballroom and 22 meeting rooms MERC hired Karl Schulz and Tary Carlson to oversee the construction contract and coordinate other aspects of the project.
