OHSU – Kohler Pavilion

This project consisted of a 12 story addition to the existing hospital and includes; operating rooms, patient wing, intensive care unit and a new sterile processing department. As part of the project, all support utilities were constructed through existing buildings while maintaining minimal impact to hospital operations.

The American Institute of Architects awarded the OHSU Peter O. Kohler Pavilion best project for National Health Care Design in 2009. The Kohler won because of its user amenities that shorten hospital stays increase the level of care.
