Barlow Hall Renovation

Oregon City, Oregon
Clackamas Community College Education

Space in Barlow Hall that was previously committed to different programs was incorporated into the plan for this renovation, allowing for the expansion of the Automotive and Collision program, providing new facilities for students pursuing automotive degrees and certificates, and doubling the space for the college’s high school program.  The fully remodeled, 33,000-SF Barlow Hall auto tech facilities now include three new paint booths, ten new vehicle lifts, two new classrooms, a 12,600-SF shop, an increase in the number of technician stations from 11 to 23, and new HVAC, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure.

With new, modern facilities and state-of-the-art equipment, students are now learning in a productive environment with industry-approved instruction on modern equipment with today’s safety standards – similar to what they will find working in the industry.

The remodel came on the heels of CCC being certified by the Automotive Service Excellence Foundation.
