Harmony West

Milwaukie, Oregon
Clackamas Community College Education

As part of a voter-approved $90 million bond measure to update Clackamas Community College (“CCC”) facilities, the Harmony West project grows CCC’s health science, workforce development, and general educational offerings on the Harmony Community Campus. The new, three-story, 43,634-SF Harmony West building features eight classrooms, one large classroom with the ability to partition to two classrooms, chemistry and biology labs with lab preparation space, two computer labs, a 2,500-SF multipurpose/community event space, lobby, informal learning spaces, support spaces, and a bookstore.

The new facility replaces the 61-year-old former building with a much-needed, updated training facility that will allow students to start and complete a number of academic career pathways at this location. The project is designed to perform beyond the Oregon Energy Code requirements and meets the carbon reduction of The 2030 Challenge, which challenges all new buildings to be carbon-neutral by 2030.
