Insitu, Inc.

Bingen, Washington
Lexington Realty Trust Industrial

Lexington Realty Trust, a company that specializes in providing financing solutions through sale-leaseback, build-to-suit, and other transactions, retained inici group to provide construction monitoring and inspection services for the development of this project.  inici provided regular, detailed monthly reports covering all aspects of the project from safety, budget, and schedule to constructability reviews.  These reports kept Lexington, the developer, and other financial backers well-informed of the project’s progress without the need to be on-site.

The 124,539-SF Insitu building employs 180 workers and is used as a light assembly and engine testing facility for Insitu, a subsidiary of Boeing.  The new facility replaces the 17+ Insitu facilities that were spread around the Columbia River Gorge area in both Oregon and Washington.  Roughly the size of two football fields, the building was designed and constructed to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.
