Mt. Hood Medical Services Building

Gresham, Oregon
Legacy Health Healthcare

Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center began serving Gresham and eastern Multnomah County at its current site in 1984.  To address the needs of a growing community, the new, three-story outpatient services center and medical office building was designed to alleviate space constraints and increase capacity for specialty and outpatient services as well as providing leasable medical office space for community practices.

The new facility features a main level, 20,000-SF outpatient surgery and endoscopy center with 14 patient care and recovery rooms, four nursing stations, two operating suites, eight pre- and post-acute recovery rooms, four procedure suites, clinical support stations, and centralized work stations for physicians.  The second and third floors house Legacy’s specialty practices.  The building supports a growing trend of preventative and specialized health services and is designed with an outpatient focus promoting optimal health outcomes.  An enclosed corridor/tunnel connects the endoscopy and surgical sections with the main hospital building.
