In 2009, Metro retained inici to provide management for this planned hotel, including support to complete the hotel development review, detailed cost review and negotiation, and a final report defining total costs and risks. In 2011, inici completed a review of the 2009 report to define current market costs, providing the information needed for Metro to initiate the RFP process. In 2012, inici reviewed submitted proposals and provided Metro with an associated summary identifying risks and opportunities related to costs, phasing, and schedules. inici presented to the Evaluation Committee and assisted in developing a short-list of teams and a final recommendation. inici then provided expertise to perform a review, assessment, and analysis with diligence and good faith, and to comment, document, and recommend improvements or adjustments to the development process to protect Metro’s investment. Metro is currently relying on inici’s professional oversight and recommendations during construction.
