Jake has nearly 30 years and $3 billion of construction industry management experience on public and private sector projects. He has provided whole building commissioning and construction management expertise for projects utilizing a variety of construction methods, including design-build and design-bid-build.

Jake’s knowledge and leadership have been applied to the Los Angeles Community College District’s Sustainable Building Program for the past seven (7) years.  He has worked on nine (9) different campuses as the Commissioning & Warranty Program Manager and has developed, written, and implemented multiple standards and procedures toward the success of the Whole Building Commissioning Program.  While simultaneously managing the Whole Building Commissioning Program at the PMO office and on multiple campuses, Jake’s technical skills were also called upon to act as Project Manager for the Design/Build District Headquarters Data Center.

Jake possesses excellent communication skills with a consistent ability to stay focused and organized. He works with foresight and professionalism in dealing with both clients and peers and is able to make good decisions during pressured situations. Jake has managed and executed 10 to 50 projects simultaneously, ranging in construction from $2M to $60M each at LACCD. He has coordinated and led Sustainable / Environmental Design and has experience in “Collaborative for High Performance Schools” (CHPS) projects.
